Our history

Distrito Esporte Clube was born from the idea of a select group of professionals from different fields to offer a healthy environment for sports practice and educational and human development.

President

Basketball coach with experience in the Women's Basketball League - LBF (2013/2014). Manager of the Renata Ribeiro Basketball Development Center.

Luciana Pires

Vice President

Volleyball athlete and coach with experience in the Women's Superliga (2015/2018). First woman to win the Men's Superliga C (ABV - 2024). Certified Level III Coach by the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation - CBV.

Nelson Ramos

Financial Director

Professor and basketball referee with extensive experience in training athletes in their early years.

Rubens Cavalcante

Director of Education and Culture

Historian and former curator of the collection at the National Press Museum. Researcher of basketball in the Federal District.
